100% grass-finished beef tallow, whipped to a luxurious consistency. I only use three ingredients to make this tallow as natural as possible without adding preservatives or harmful chemicals.
Tallow mimics the skins natural barrier, meaning it absorbs right into the skin rather than sitting on top. It is also noncomedogenic meaning it won't clog pores!
INGREDIENTS:
100% grass-finished beef tallow: Nutrient dense fat rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, as well as CLA. High bioavailability making it easily absorbed into the skin.
Organic jojoba oil: also noncomedogenic, balances oil production, combats acne and reduces inflammation.
Vanilla botanical essence: made directly from vanilla beans, so this is not a synthetic fragrance.
ABOUT ME: I'm a wife and stay at home, homeschool mom of two, plus one in heaven. I'm actively trying to make our home healthier, and making my own skincare products was one of my goals. I've been making this tallow for almost a year and honestly I have no desire to use anything else. This absorbs so well into the skin, it's all natural, and smells amazing - no matter which scent you choose - although I have to say vanilla is my personal fav.
Ty's tallow is free from phthalates, fillers, or synthetic fragrances.
FAQS:
Q: Does it smell like beef?
A: Some tallow reams do, but mine does not! Whatever scent you choose, is the only scent you will smell! There is zero beef scent.
Q: Can I use it on my kids?
A: YES! If you'd like to check with your doctor first, go ahead, but my tallow is made from all natural ingredients and is honestly safer than most products targeted towards kids and babies. I use my tallow cream on my 6 year old and 2 year old and it's very gentle!
Q: Can it help with eczema?
A: It can, but I won't say it will. Everyone's skin is different and therefor I don't have a 100% sure answer for you if it will definitely help with eczema, however, my son has has eczema patches in the past and this has helped him get rid of those as well as keep new ones from starting.
Q: I have sensitive skin, could I still use it?
A: Absolutely! I would recommend this more than most things for sensitive skin. Tallow mimics the natural skin barrier and organic jojoba oil is calming on the skin.
Q: Do I need to store it in the fridge? How long will it last?
A: NO you do not need to keep it in the fridge, however, if left in hot cars or out in direct sun where it's very hot, it will melt. If you keep it in your house during average temperatures, it'll be just fine!
I personally use this morning and night as my face moisturizer, plus a little on my kids sometimes, and a 2 oz jar will last me 2+ months.
